Wanda Lee Poole was born August 9, 1949 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was the youngest and only girl of three children born to Cecil & Alda L. (Kitchen) Haston. Wanda was the baby and some might say the most spoiled of the three children, being quite a bit younger than her two older brothers.
Wanda had resided in Centerville since the mid 1980’s and worked as a waitress for the Town Café for many years. She enjoyed reading, solving word puzzles and watching television. Wanda was also a dedicated and hard worker who always had a smile on her face.
Wanda passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Bryan, Texas. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and big brothers, Willie Joe and Donald Haston. Wanda’s passing has left a hole in the hearts of her family and all those who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
