Virginia Carol Mccaslin

A funeral service for Virginia McCaslin will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Interment will follow at Centerville Cemetery. Brother Louis Mize will officiate the service.

Virginia Carol McCaslin, age 74, of Centerville, Texas passed away on February 13, 2022, in Centerville. She was born on May 10, 1947, to Marvin Carson Wampler, Sr. and Faynette (Welch) Wampler in Coalgood, Kentucky. Virginia moved to Centerville around twenty-seven years ago and was currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Centerville. She enjoyed cross-stitching, shopping and antiques. Virginia had a very contagious laugh and she lit up a room any time she walked in. She never met a stranger.

Virginia was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Marvin, Jr.; sisters, Georgia, Brenda, Karen and infant sister, Mary Alice. She is survived by her husband, Michael McCaslin; daughters, Carol Costlow (Steve) and Jennifer McCaslin; brother, Jim Wampler (Carla); sisters, Barbara Ham (Daniel) and Marylin Arroyo (Valentine); grandchildren, Elizabeth Reynolds (Bradley), Rebecca Reynolds, Victoria Reynolds, Michael Reynolds, Melissa Taylor (Talon), Matthew Reynolds and Cynthia Holderrieth (Reece); and one great-grandson, Michael Ronan Taylor.
