Our beloved mother, Sue Jennings St.Pe, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024. Sue was born on August 3, 1940, in Baytown, Texas, to her loving parents, Elvis and Maxine Jennings.
Sue is survived by her sister, Elaine Helmcamp and brother, Elvis Jennings, Jr. and wife, Kathy. She leaves behind her three children, John T. St.Pe, Jr., Andrea St.Pe Duke, and Kent St.Pe and his wife, Leslee. Sue was also blessed with seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her life.
A woman of unwavering faith, Sue lived her life confident in her Savior’s love and the promise of eternal life. Her strong spiritual foundation was a guiding light for her family and those who knew her.
Sue was a retired nurse, dedicating many years of her life to caring for others. In her younger years, she found joy in dancing, and later in life, she cherished spending time with family playing card games, creating precious memories with loved ones.
A graveside service to celebrate Sue’s life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Straley Cemetery in Adamsville, Texas, just outside of Lampasas.
Sue’s warmth, faith, and love will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Final arrangements are entrusted to the care of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
