Sue Ann Simpson

Susan Simpson, age 72 of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Bryan, Texas. A celebration of her life is planned for 11 A.M., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Chapel of the Hills Assembly of God Church in Centerville, Texas. Pastor Dwayne Word will officiate the service and interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery. A public visitation will be held from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., Monday, September 18th at the church.

Sue Ann “Susan” Simpson was born on October 3, 1944 in Wyoming County, West Virginia to Claude & Betty (Christian) Reeves. She worked for Brazos Valley M.H.M.R. in Centerville and Madisonville. Susan was a member of Chapel of the Hills Assembly of God Church in Centerville in which she was very active and sang on the praise and worship team. Susan lived for her Bunko games played once a month. Her favorite flower was the yellow rose. Throughout the past several years, Susan had spent her time helping others and enjoyed doing so. She also enjoyed a good shopping trip.

Susan was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by loving husband, Ira Simpson of Centerville and two sons, John Simpson & wife, Theresa, of Hineston, Louisiana and Brian Simpson of Anahuac. Susan is also survived by three adoring grandchildren, Dustin, Breanna and Chantry Simpson.
