Sherrye Gayle Young

Sherrye Gayle (Wilson) Young, age 75, of Centerville, Texas, passed away on December 11, 2023 in Centerville, Texas. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11 A.M. at the Centerville Cemetery, Centerville, Texas. Larry Wayne Bell will officiate.

Sherrye was born on January 18, 1948 in Palestine, Texas to W.J. and Merle (Moore) Wilson. She was raised in Centerville and graduated from Centerville High School in 1966. On May 2, 1981, she married Jack Young and continued to live in Centerville.

Sherrye was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and both of her parents. She is survived by numerous cousins.
