Sandra Lynn Young

Sandra Lynn (Adcock) Young was born June 10, 1946 to Boyce and Betty (McMahon) Adcock in Cleburne, Texas. She moved to Centerville in 1978 when she met her husband, Odis “Ott” Young. Sandra passed away November 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family following an eight month battle with cancer.

Sandra loved the outdoors. She loved “growth hunting” and having "girl days" with her daughters. Sandra had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and cut up. She also loved arts and crafts, painting and decorating. Sandra had been employed with Centerville I.S.D. until her retirement.

Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Adcock and both of her parents. Surviving family members include husband, Odis “Ott” Young of Centerville; daughters, Kelly Gonzales & husband, Thomas, of Centerville and Fallon Manderud & husband, James, of Centerville; son, Jerry Swindell & wife, Jeanie, of Maypearl and brothers, Jimmy Adcock & wife, Wanda, of Cleburne and Terry Adcock, also of Cleburne. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Sandra will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Texas. There will be no public visitation.

Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas is in charge of all arrangements.
