Roger Graham, 76 years, of Centerville, and formerly of Louisiana and Florida, passed away on December 23, 2016 in Bryan, Texas following a lengthy illness. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
Roger Edward Graham, Sr. was born on July 1, 1940 in Coleman, Florida to Charles Edward & Ellen (Spurling) Graham. A native Florida Cracker, Roger was raised in Florida and lived there for the next sixty-five years working as a railroad conductor. He met his wife, Winonah Stocking, in Louisiana while helping his son hunt for homes. They were married in 2005 and lived in Louisiana until 2008 when they moved to their dream property near Centerville. Roger had a love for ranch life. He had even worked on a dairy farm for a period of time when he was younger. Once settled in Centerville, Roger realized his dream and enjoyed the remainder of his life working with his cattle on his own ranch, the Deep N Ranch.
Roger was known as a jokester and a real character. He had a wonderful, humorous personality and always found something to laugh about. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and had lived in Centerville for the past eight years.
Roger was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife, Winonah Graham of Centerville; sons, Tim Graham (Elsie) of Panama City, Florida and Roger Graham, Jr. of Inverness, Florida; step-sons, Robert Stanley of Hanford, California and Shane Stanley of Minden, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Bill Stocking (Dottie) of Heflin, Louisiana and cousins, Ben Bridges (Joy), Brittany and Ryder Bridges of Wildwood, Florida and Billy Bigham (Stormie), Lee and Ava Claire Bigham of Marianna, Florida.
