Randy Bullard was born September 9, 1961 in Baytown, Texas during hurricane Carla. He moved to Madisonville, Texas in 1976 where he graduated from Madisonville High School in 1980. He attended Sam Houston State University and later worked for the Texas Animal Commission. Shortly after his time in college, he decided to follow his dream of becoming a rancher. His favorite place was being on horseback in the middle of his herd of cattle. Running heavy equipment was runner up to life as a cowboy. Whether it was bailing hay, clearing land, building roads or digging ponds he was at home on his land. He was an incredible artist who was happiest building metal structures, fences and working pens.
Colin Powell said, A dream doesnt become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. It was through Randys sweat, hard work, determination and brilliant mind where he found fulfillment and worked diligently to provide for his family. His friends and acquaintances knew him as a kind and compassionate man who helped everyone in need. He never had any children of his own, but there were many whom he claimed as his and loved dearly by sharing his knowledge and wisdom with them. He was a Godly, peaceful and loving man, devoted to his family and friends. He was a steward of the land and true angel on earth.
Randy was preceded in death by his father Wilburn Bullard, his mother Rosa Bullard and his sister Ann Nagel. He is survived by his wife, Melissa McCleary and sons William and Corbin McCleary, his brother Carlton Bullard, sisters Kathi LaPointe and Louree Bullard, niece Kimberly Woods, and nephews Nathan Nagel, Timothy LaPointe, Thomas LaPointe, John Swatsel, Jacob Bullard and Marcus Bullard.
