Funeral services for Patricia Magdalina Jensen, age 77, of Bedias, Texas have been set for 11 AM, Friday, November 18, 2016 at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Rev. Nathan Hoke will officiate and burial will follow in the Bedias Baptist Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Jensen will be on the same day from 9 AM until 11 AM at the funeral home.
Patricia Jensen was born on January 11, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clarence and Magdalina (Woodard) Hogenmueller. She died November 14, 2016 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Mrs. Jensen retired from the Spring Branch Medical Center in Houston and moved near Bedias in 1995. She and her husband opened a caf called Mom and Dads Caf in Bedias. The caf was her lifelong dream. Her family said that she was always in the kitchen whether it was at home or at the restaurant. Mrs. Jensen also loved gardening. The Jensens raised three generations of kids and were members of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Houston. After moving to Bedias, they attended Bedias Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jensen was preceded in death by her parents and by a daughter, Deborah Rust. Her surviving family includes her husband of 61 years, Ray Jensen of Bedias; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannette and Eric Tomlinson of Ft. Worth and Sandra and Robert Clemons of Keller, Texas; two grandchildren, Patricia Rust and Raymond Rust and a great grandson, Caleb Honeycutt.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Clemons,Tony Hernandez, Caleb Honeycutt, David Rayden, Eric Tomlinson and Horatio Garza.
