Patricia Ann Deiss (Weikel) was born on May 29th 1937 in Houston, Texas to Glen and Priscilla (Arlitt) Weikel. Patricia met and married the love of her life, Glenwood Deiss. Their marriage began on July 21st of 1956. They enjoyed sixty-one years together until Glen's passing in August of 2017. Together they raised three sons and were involved in every aspect of their lives. Patricia was a grand lady and taught her sons to be gentlemen. As they got older she went so far as to let each of them cook one dinner per week night for the family. Together she and Glen taught them to respect others and how to be good husbands and fathers. As a family, they took many vacations together throughout the country. They enjoyed camping and were involved in Scouts, she and Glen were honored when all three of their sons worked toward and then became Eagle Scouts. Patricia loved to have family and friends over for holidays and dinners. When her sons were older, Patricia and Glen began traveling all over the world. They had so many good times together and enjoyed all of the exciting places that they were able to explore. The most important thing to Patricia besides her husband was her family. Patricia had a younger brother who was her only sibling. When all of their children were still young, both families managed a long road trip together up to Colorado and beyond during summer break. This trip is still talked about today. She loved her sons and their families dearly. Her grandchildren made her life complete.
Patricia was preceded in death by both of her parents; her eldest son, David, who passed away in 2014; and her sister-in law, Darlene Weikel. Patricia is survived by her brother, John Weikel of Kerrville; sons and daughters-in law, Alan and Laurie Deiss of Buffalo, Phillip and Mary Deiss of Houston and Karen Deiss of Mansfield; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Finally, she has been united with her beloved husband and son.
