Graveside funeral services for Nejlah Magouirk, age 58, of Buffalo have been set for 3 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Keechi Cemetery east of Buffalo. A visitation is scheduled for 6 PM through 8 PM on Tuesday evening at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home.
Nejlah Magouirk was born August 29, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Lloyd Griffith and Gloria Faye (Pate) Griffith. She was raised in Buffalo and graduated from high school there. She lived in Dallas for many years and worked as a supervisor for Muratech, a company that refurbished and sold fax machines. She and her husband, James Dee Magouirk, moved back to Buffalo about 15 years ago. For several years, she and James Dee owned an insurance adjusting business and traveled all over the U.S. Nejlah enjoyed cooking and eating healthy. She liked playing volleyball and was physically fit. She liked to walk and loved all of her animals and was a real country girl. Nejlah passed away in Bryan on February 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her [parents: Lloyd Griffith and Gloria F. (Pate) Griffith Garner.
Surviving family includes her husband, James Dee Magouirk of Buffalo; son, Carl Dee Magouirk of Dallas; daughter, Misti Charmaine Magouirk of Dallas; brother, Raymond Allen Griffith of Madisonville and sister, Lisa Ann (Garner) Burns of Buffalo.
