Graveside services for Nancy Whited, age 56, of Buffalo, will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Lummus Cemetery in rural Leon County, Texas. A public visitation will take place from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, April 19th at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home.
Nancy Ann Whited was born on November 1, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to James Earl & Lola Amanda (Penland) Whited. She held many jobs throughout her life, the latest being the Donut Palace in Buffalo. Although Nancy had no children of her own, she considered her nieces and nephews as her children. She loved to spend time with them, as well as all of her family. Nancys greatest quality was her giving nature. She would go without many things if it meant helping someone in need. Nancy had been a lifelong resident of Buffalo and was Baptist in faith. She passed away on April 15, 2017 in Buffalo, Texas. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother and all of her grandparents.
Surviving family members include father, James Earl Whited of Lancaster; sisters, Brenda Kay Morin & Susan Lynn Whited both of Buffalo; nieces, Malina Gail Morin, Amanda Lynn Ramirez and Ana Christina Gonzalez and nephews, Karl Douglas Woods, Willie Frank Woods, Dennis Ray Sandoval and Gilbert Luna Barco. Nancy is also survived by two great nieces; eight great nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo is in charge of all arrangements.
