Minnie Mae Sanders

Minnie Mae (Lyons) Sanders, age 63, of Madisonville, Texas passed away May 16, 2024 in Madisonville, Texas.  

Minnie was born August 6, 1960, in Bellville, Texas to David Marion & Marion Janine (Lance) Lyons.  She was a caregiver and homemaker her entire life, preferring a simple lifestyle.  Minnie loved being outdoors, both wild and domestic animals, and reading her bible.  She also enjoyed solving puzzle games.  Minnie had been a resident of Madisonville since 1989, coming from Bellville, Texas.

Minnie was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Herman Sanders; siblings, David, Jr., Roger, Jimmy, Stephen, Sammy and Pat; and granddaughter, Rosemary Soto.  

Surviving family members include children, Mandy Lyons of Centerville, Adam Sanders of Madisonville, and Alani Sanders (Kyler Soto) of Centerville; grandchildren, Derrick & Daniel Soto; brother, Roman Collier of Houston; sisters, Peggy Caldwell of Huntsville and Mary Hernandez of Houston; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A private family service is scheduled for a later date.
