Mark Allen Davis

Mark Allen Davis, 65, of Leona, Texas passed away at his home on March 22, 2021. Mark was born to Burgess Edward Davis and Jo Beth (Luker) Davis on October 6, 1955 in Cuero, Texas. He was raised in Cuero, Texas and was a Seminary graduate. During Mark’s life he held various employment positions which included oilfield work and a Clinical Director at several treatment centers. Following retirement, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a dedicated rancher. Mark was also a member of the Centerville Masonic Lodge and held the Master position at one time.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents and nephew, Clint Davis. He is survived by his wife, Diane (Oden) Davis; daughter, Marianne Vaughn; mother and stepfather, Jo Beth and Richard Smith; brother, Michael “Mike” Davis (Kim); sister, Lisa Gray (Terry) and grandchild, Ann Marie Vaughn along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Services honoring Mark will take place 2 P.M., Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Leonard Keeling and Richard Smith will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Leona Cemetery in Leona, Texas.
