Kathleen Erma Griffy was born February 24, 1960 in Delaware, Ohio to parents, Daniel W. & Elizabeth (Gareis) Bartram. She passed away surrounded in love January 23, 2023 in Huntsville, Texas.
Kathleen had lived in Leon and Madison Counties for over the past twenty years. She was a member of Life Church in Leona, Texas. Kathleen had worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA). She enjoyed crocheting and had a very green thumb. Kathleen liked keeping house plants and loved growing fruit plants and trees in her small garden outside. Kathleen was also a lover of all animals, especially horses. Most importantly, she dearly loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She will leave a great hole in the hearts of all who loved her.
Kathleen was preceded in death by both of her parents; daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Manderud; grandchildren, Alexis Kelly and Baby Nash, as well as siblings, Ruth Ann, Edward and Daniel.
Surviving family members include husband, Michael Griffy of Ohio; daughters, Kathleen Ramsey (Gregg) of Willis, Dorothy Housler (Brandon) of Dew and Peggy Nash (Will) of Huntsville; son, Fred Bartram Jr. (Joy) of Bedias; brothers, Donnie, Chucky and Fred Bartram and grandchildren, Patrick, Triston, Jonathan, Daman, Jayden, Kaden, Trinity, Emma, Kevin, Casey, Eliza, Dixie, Hunter and Kaitlin, Christopher, Madeleine, Ilona, William.
Memorial services for Kathleen will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, February 4, 2023 with a brief visitation prior to the service from 10 A.M. to service time at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
