Karon Fishbeck, age 75, of Jewett, Texas, departed this world on November 17, 2024 in Bryan, Texas. Born on May 31, 1949, in Richmond, Texas to Roy Ray Padon and Victoria Virginia (Lipinski) Padon, Karon's remarkable life journey began.
Despite facing hardships in her childhood, Karon emerged as a resilient and fiercely independent individual. Her strong presence and unwavering determination always left a lasting impression on those around her. Karon was known for her candid nature – she never hesitated to speak her mind, a quality that was both admirable and endearing.
Karon found solace in simple pleasures; fishing with a cane pole, reminiscing on cherished moments spent with her mother, brought her immense joy. She had a green thumb and a passion for gardening, coupled with a talent for culinary arts. Her love for the color red and birdwatching, especially admiring the red-hued ones, added vibrancy to her life.
A natural caregiver at heart, Karon dedicated her younger years as an LVN, extending compassion and care to all she encountered. Her nurturing spirit also shone through in fostering a child and guiding them towards a brighter future before her own children were born.
Above all, Karon took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, showing unwavering support by attending every sporting event and school function her children and grandchildren participated in. Many humorous stories can be told between Karon's children of the many ways in which Karon would show her support during games and how it would usually be during the quietest moment of the game when the entire crowd was silent...except for Karon.
Karon was preceded in death by both of her parents; loving husband, Charlie Fishbeck; and brothers, Kenneth Ray & Royce Dale "Piggy" Padon.
Surviving family members include children, Clayton James Fishbeck (Dan) of Prosper, Jennilee Ann Page (Michael) of Jewett, and Victoria Allyn "Tori" Futrell (Kyle) of Marquez; grandchildren, Megan, Melanie, and Maci Page and Averi, Keaton, and Emeri Futrell; brother, Roy Allen Padon (Linda) of Rosenberg; and adored furbabies, Gina, Cooper, Sammie and Rosie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
