Karen Sue Schoen

Funeral services for Karen Sue Schoen, age 71, of Conroe, Texas, will be held at 1 P.M., Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery. A brief visitation will take place the same day from 11 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Karen Sue Schoen was born November 14, 1946 in San Diego County, California. Her parents were Roy M. & Dorothy (Bokemayer) Warren. Her family moved to Texas when she was younger. Karen was a graduate of Spring Branch High School. She was married to Randy Schoen. They had lived in the Channelview area since 2005 before moving to Conroe. Karen loved to play bingo at the local VFW Hall and had so many good times with her bingo friends. She also enjoyed making all sorts of crafts and was an excellent gardener of both vegetables and flowers.

Karen passed away on December 7, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Randy Schoen; granddaughter, Ashley Schoen and brother, Roy Warren. Surviving family members are son, Dustin Schoen (Abigail) of Cypress; daughters, Staci Dauphiné (Aaron) of Edmond, OK and Michelle Parham of Houston; brother, Jeffery Warren (Gina) of Houston and sister, Rebecca Bjerkeli (Arden) of Spring. Karen is also survived by beloved grandchildren Jakob Schoen, Jordan Fowler, Katherine Schoen, Preston Dauphiné, Lillian Dauphiné, Carly Dauphiné and Leyton Schoen and numerous extended family and friends.
