Jason Lee Wilson, age 45, of Oakwood, Texas, passed away September 11, 2024 at his home near Oakwood. He was born December 15, 1978, in San Diego, California, the only child of Jay Flounoy & Theresa (Buendia) Wilson.
Jason's father served his country in the United States military which allowed Jason the opportunity to live in various locations around the United States, including California, Illinois, Louisiana and Virginia, but Jason always felt that Oakwood, Texas was his true home. He was a graduate of Oakwood High School. Jason was a very intelligent man and enjoyed working on cars and playing various computer games. He also had a charismatic and witty sense of humor that earned him loyal and lifelong friends. Jason lived a simple life and especially enjoyed the company of his furry companions, Dingo and Bo. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jason was preceded in death by both of his parents and special dogs, Pepper and Pete. He is survived by his uncle, David Wilson; lifelong friends, Heather Robinson and Joseph Renard; and his dogs, Dingo and Bo. Jason is also survived by a host of extended family members and loved ones.
