Jannett Keppner, age 77, of Buffalo, Texas passed away March 3, 2022 in Centerville, Texas following a brief illness. She was born May 24, 1944 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Richard Clyde & May Irene (Wright) Barker. Jannett had worked in the meat market of a grocery store and was a resident of Buffalo for over thirty years, coming from Texas City, Texas and Iowa.
Jannett enjoyed gambling, crocheting and spending as much time as she could with her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents and husband, Karen "Kep" Keppner. Surviving family members include son, Worth (Teresa) Wheeler of Buffalo; daughter, Angela (Robert) Raif of Baytown; adopted son, Anthony (Khristy) McElroy of Buffalo; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Raif of China Spring, Chad (Anna) Hundley of Italy, Chevella Montoya of Centerville and Kimberly Montoya of Keysville, VA, as well as great-grandchildren, Mason, Colt, Brandy and Payton. Jannett is also survived by boyfriend, Tommy Whitted and special friend, Dina Elliott of Denium Springs, LA.
Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas is entrusted with final arrangements.
