James Alfred Frazier

James Alfred Frazier was born in Navarro, Texas on May 13, 1936 to Minnie Ola Stevens & John Alfred Frazier. He passed away in Jasper, Texas on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

James was preceded in death by both of his parents, John & Minnie Frazier and granddaughter, Carrie Frazier Crites.

James is survived by his children, James "Bubba" Frazier and wife, Dana of Pineland, Jamie Young & husband, James of Warren, Steve Frazier of Hamshire, John Frazier & wife, Angela of Pineland, Rusty Frazier of Dayton, April Frazier of Huntsville and Jenny Frazier of Louisiana, along with nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

James grew up in Houston and was a member of the first class to graduate from C.E. King High School in 1955. After graduation, he followed his father to Beaumont where they created their own custom home building company, Frazier Homes. James later settled in Robbins, Texas where his passion for classic cars and car shows blossomed. His house on "The Hill," as he liked to call it, became his own little oasis where he enjoyed working in the garden, growing flowers and spending time with friends and family.

The Frazier family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses at Affinity and Harbor Hospices in Jasper, Texas.

A funeral service for James will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Bro. Joe Caraway will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery. A brief visitation will take place prior the service from 11 A.M. to service time at the funeral home.
