Jalyn Symone Woodard was born December 23, 1993, in College Station, Texas to the parentage of Nicole Gould and Sedrick Woodard. Jalyn was born a twin.
Jalyn’s education was with Rudder High School In Bryan, Texas, graduating in 2012. After graduation Jalyn worked in various positions, as well as furthering her education at Berklee.
Jalyn was a true believer in the Most High. Her faith was abundant and unshakable, which made her the beautiful person she was inside and out. She was always happy, smiling, and willing to help others. When she entered a room her smile and heart entered first. She loved spending time with her family, being with her mother, and especially time with her twin sister and best friend, Jazzlyn. You would often find Jalyn laughing and cracking jokes with her brother, Jacoby, or playing with her nieces and nephews. It was always family first with Jalyn – but she also loved her best friends unconditionally (TeAvia Daniel, Heba Farag and Alexys Harris).
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Delois Gould and cousins, Lacey Gould and Margo Gould.
She leaves her loved ones to cherish her memories mother, Nicole Gould; siblings, Jacoby Woodard and Jazzlyn Woodard; grandfather, Carl Gould and her nieces and nephews, Jade, Jaxon, XiKree, Jayden and Sarai. She also leaves her father, Sedrick Woodard and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Woodard, as well as a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who love and will miss her dearly.
