Ileana Perez

Ileana Silguero Perez, 62, passed away on March 5th, 2025, in Houston, Texas in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Born on March 14, 1962, in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Ileana lived a life filled with love and generosity. She was known for her unwavering determination in all avenues of life and her kind hearted nature, always extending warmth and support to all those around her. She had a deep love for travel, embracing new experiences and cultures with enthusiasm. No family vacation will be the same without her.

She was preceded in death by her father, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Angel Perez; her mother, Bertha Silguero; her daughters, Angelica Medrano, Nataly Perez, and Ileana Perez; three loving grandchildren, Kimberly Celeste, Kristin Alena, and Julian Angel Medrano; and by four sisters and two brothers.

A funeral mass will be held on March 14, 2025, at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1505 Kane Street, Houston, Texas 77007. A visitation will follow later that same day from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 W. 34th Street, Houston, Texas 77018. A rosary service will take place immediately after the visitation from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the same location. A final visitation will occur on March 15, 2025, from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home, 610 South Commerce Street, Centerville, Texas 75833. Ileana will be laid to rest at 1 P.M., with a burial service in the family’s Centerstone Cemetery at Centerstone Ranch in Centerville, Texas.

Ileana’s strong spirit and kind heart will leave a lasting mark on those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
