Funeral services for Louise Wilson, age 88, of Lakeside City, Wichita Falls and formerly of Centerville, will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Bro. Dean Easterling, pastor of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate the service. A private interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery.

Frances “Louise” Wilson was born September 2, 1930 in Klondike, Delta County, Texas to Prentice Elvin “P.E.” & Berniece (Moore) James. She worked as the Tax Assessor/Collector for Leon County from 1985 until her retirement in 2012. Louise was a resident of Centerville for sixty years and a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. In December 2016, she moved to Holliday, Texas to live with her sister, Rosa Lee and in October 2018, she moved to Lakeside City, Texas to be near her niece, Charlotte Ann.
Louise passed away July 24, 2019 in a Wichita Falls nursing home. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Arlis Edward Wilson; son, Mike Edward Wilson and sister, Melvanda James Smith.
Surviving family members include granddaughter, Ginni Wilson; brother, Willie Joe James; sister, Rosa Lee James Gregory; nieces, Charlotte Ann Stevens (Donald Wayne), Yvonne Lowen (Andy) and Charlotte Lynn Fryhover (Tommy); nephews, David James (Sandy) and Rickey Joe James (Jane), Steve Smith (Sherri) and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Traditions Hospice, 600 E. Loop 304, Crockett, Texas 77835 or a local hospice organization of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.
