Ernest Marvin "Ernie" Wilburn, Jr.

Graveside funeral services for Ernie Wilburn, age 72, will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Texas. A brief visitation will take place Wednesday evening, June 3rd, from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.

Ernest Marvin Wilburn, Jr. was born February 1, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Ernest Marvin, Sr. & Dorothy Mae (Barrett) Wilburn. He had resided in Leona and also, Pasadena, Texas and loved fishing and hunting. Ernie passed away May 31, 2020 in Bryan, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Evelyn Wilburn; son, Samuel Wilburn and sister, Ronda Sue Wilburn.

Surviving family members include sons, Thomas Wilburn of Clyde, Toby Wilburn of Old River and Mickey Pace of Friendswood; daughters, Tonya Wilburn Stewart (Dominic) of Cove and Kimberly Dunn (Alan) of Friendswood; sister, Jo Ann Stanford of Huntsville; grandchildren, Blake Stewart (Jordan), Hanna Stewart and Rodney, Jeremy & Faith Wilburn and great-grandchildren, Aiden & Kamden Stewart. Ernie is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.
