Elizabeth "Margaret" Chaddick

Funeral services for Margaret Chaddick, age 85, will be held 9:30 A.M., Monday, July 18, 2022 at River of Life Church, east of Centerville, Texas. Curtis Archer will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. Rosemary Matthews. Burial will follow in Heaven's Gate Cemetery near the church. A brief visitation will take place prior to the service Monday from 9 A.M. to service time.

Elizabeth "Margaret" Chaddick was born October 16, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lincoln Leonard & Salena Williams. She married her late husband, Henry Isaac Chaddick November 17, 1959 and they shared thirty-eight years together before his passing in 1997. Margaret had lived in Leon County since 1997, coming from Temple, Texas and was a charter member of River of Life Church. She loved her church family and attended faithfully. Margaret was an accomplished quilter and enjoyed crafting, gardening and cooking. She passed away July 15, 2022 in Palestine, Texas.

Margaret was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Henry Isaac Chaddick; several siblings and daughter-in-law, Paula Brannum.

Surviving family members include children, Jackie Brannum of Centerville, Freddie (Evelyn) Brannum of Amarillo; Tommie Brannum of Dill City, OK; Betty (Randy) Miller of Amarillo and Becky (Steven) Roe of Salem, Oregon; grandchildren, Margaret, Rusty, Jeremy, Kimberly, Jerry, Terry, Rebecka, Bradley, Billy, Michael, Rachel, Tiffany, Christy, Joseph, Sierra, Savannah and Steven; numerous great-grandchildren, as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
