Elizabeth Ann Perry passed into the open arms of her Heavenly Father December 5, 2020 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of eighty-three years. She was greeted by both of her parents; husband, Dwitt Perry; daughter, Belinda Smith and two siblings.
Elizabeth was born November 29, 1937 in Houston, Texas to William Charles and Inez A. (Schneider) Hull. She worked as a nurse for the majority of her life and had lived in Leon County for the past fifteen to twenty years. Elizabeth and her late husband were longtime members of the Cowboy Church of Leon County, and she remained active in the church until her health prevented her from attending. Elizabeth was a natural, motherly figure and people felt very at ease when they were with her. She had a way of making anyone feel like they were the most important person in the room and was known as “Nanny” to many. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoyed sewing and working on her family genealogy.
Elizabeth is survived by sons, William Caruthers of Shepherd and Robert Caruthers of Houston; loving brother, Bobby Hull of Centerville and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren, as well as, many extended family and devoted friends who will all miss her dearly.
A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Cowboy Church of Leon County, Centerville, Texas..
Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
