Donald Gene Hall, Sr.

Donald Gene Hall, Sr., age 90, of Fairfield, Texas passed away at his home in Fairfield April 29, 2023.

Donald was born June 27, 1932 in the Newby Community of Leon County, Texas to James Kay and Mellie M. (Parker) Hall. He worked and retired as an electrician for Alcoa and resided in Rockdale for most of his life.

Don was preceded in death by both of his parents, James (1955) and Mellie Hall (1984); son, Ronald Dean Hall (2020); daughter, Shirley Ann Alexander (2020); first wife, Neta Faye Hall (2018) and second wife, Barbara Massey Beasley Hall (2022).

Surviving family members include daughters, Karen Smith of Roanoke, Debra Gersbach (Ron) of Burleson, Donna McGee (David) of Streetman and Sherry Bell (Steven Ray) of Burleson; son, Donald Gene Hall, Jr. of Fairfield, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and special friend, Jentry Clary.

Services for Don are planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
