Dana Danyel Tullos

In loving memory of Dana Tullos, a cherished soul who graced us with her presence for fifty-four years. Born on July 1, 1969, Dana's unwavering spirit illuminated the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She resided in Centerville, Texas, her lifelong home, where she found solace and belonging amidst the embrace of her beloved family.

Dana's essence revolved around the cornerstone of familial love, particularly devoted to her adoring spouse, Toby Tullos. Her world was animated by the laughter and exuberance of her sons and grandsons, whom she nurtured with tenderness and care.

Enthralled by the warmth of sunshine, Dana sought solace in the serenity of the outdoors, a tranquil haven where she found joy simply basking by the pool.

With a heart attuned to life's simplest pleasures, Dana embraced each moment with grace and gratitude. In her departure, a luminous light dims, yet her spirit shall forever dance in the memories of those who adored her.

Dana was preceded in death by her father, Herman H. Helm.  She is survived by devoted husband, Toby Tullos of Centerville; mother, Shirley (Laningham) Helm of Buffalo; sons, Ty (Lauren) Douget of Katy and Tate Tullos of Centerville; grandsons, Rowdy Tullos, Jaxson Tullos, Trace Tullos, Waylon Tullos and Tripp Douget; and brother, Steven W. Helm of Buffalo, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

In celebrating Dana's remarkable life, a memorial service will be held 3 P.M., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Rev. Alan Grisham, pastor of First Baptist Church, Buffalo, Texas, will officiate the service. A time of visitation will take place prior to the service from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the funeral home. An inurnment service will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery where Dana will be laid to rest next to her father, Herman.
