Crystal Lynn Pokryska

Crystal Pokryska, age 26, of Buffalo, Texas, and formerly of Davilla, Texas, passed away August 11, 2018 near her home. A celebration of her life has been scheduled for 10 A.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Cowboy Church of Leon County. Pastor Tuffy Loftin will officiate the service.

Crystal Lynn Pokryska was born April 11, 1992 in Weatherford, Texas to Frank Hatcher and Leslie Smith. She graduated from Springtown High School were she was a member of the dance team, and had plans to attend nursing school. Crystal was an accomplished horseman and former barrel racer. As a busy homemaker and mother, she was devoted to her children and family. However, Crystal and her husband enjoyed time spent working together to complete various home improvement projects motivated and inspired by her unique creativity and artistic abilities. Crystal had lived in Leon County for the past three years and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Leon County.

Crystal is survived by husband, Kenneth Pokryska; mother, Leslie Elmore (Donnie); father, Frankie Hatcher; sons, Jeffery & Nicholas Pokryska; brothers, Amos King & Andrew Miller and sisters, Erica, Stephanie & Becca Hatcher & Kaitlyn Elmore. She is also survived by maternal grandparents, Teresa & Jessie Cross and maternal grandmother, affectionately known as “Nannie,” Dorothy Daulong.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.
