Christine D. Russell

Christine D. (Douthitt) Russell was born on February 4, 1966 in Pasadena, Texas to James J.D. & Beverly (Quinn) Douthitt. She was raised in the Houston area. In her younger years, she worked for several companies including Southwest Airlines, Humana and an equipment company owned by her father. Christine later moved to Flynn where she made her permanent home. She loved watching The Price Is Right on television and enjoyed collecting purses and handbags. Christine also held a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dog, Sugar.

Christine passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2017 in Flynn, Texas. She is survived by her father, J.D. Douthitt of Pasadena; mother, Beverly Douthitt of Pasadena; son, Christopher Brodine; daughter, Victoria Russell; brother, Mark Douthitt of Pasadena and granddaughter, Aubree. She will be dearly missed but is now at peace in heaven.

A memorial service for Christine will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Bro. Dee Black, pastor of the Flynn Baptist Church, will officiate the service.

Walters Funeral Home in Centerville is in charge of all arrangements.
