Cathy Trachelle (Andrews) Theiss

Traci Theiss, age 48, of North Zulch, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her home following a long and valiant battle with brain cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 17th at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 4221 Boonville Rd., Bryan, Texas 77802. Pastor Randy Bard will officiate the service. A public visitation will take place on Friday, December 16th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.

Cathy Trachelle Traci (Andrews) Theiss was born on June 13, 1968 in Madisonville, Texas to Carroll Thomas & Janet (Standley) Andrews. She graduated from Madisonville High School in 1986 and worked at the Corral Caf for a short time. She had also worked at Montys Hallmark Store. Traci was most recently employed with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Commissary Manager. She enjoyed numerous activities outside of work including calligraphy, reading and photography with various types of cameras. Traci was also an excellent cook, baker and cake decorator, and she was a collector of angels and crosses. Her pride and joy were her children. She loved to watch them play sports and supported them in whatever capacity that she could. Tracis nieces and nephews were equally as important to her and she loved to spend time with them, as well. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County and a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Bryan.

Traci is survived by both of her parents, Tommy & Janet Andrews of Lake Limestone; husband, Bryan Theiss of North Zulch; children, Ty & Hailey Theiss of North Zulch; brothers, Cary Andrews of Dallas & James Kevin "Dink" Andrews of Huntsville, maternal grandmother, Vera Standley of Lake Limestone; mother-in-law, Edna Theiss of North Zulch and a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews, Ryan Wilkins, Collin Young, Garrett Adcock, Josh Theiss, Landon Theiss, Sam Johnson, Logan Andrews & Cole Garrett.
