Carl Lee Robacker, age 81, of Buffalo, Texas passed away peacefully at his home April 13, 2024. He was born in Essex, Maryland on August 31, 1942 to Carl & Eleanor (McGurgan) Robacker. Carl was a proud member of the Marine Corps Reserves. He had worked in the trucking industry and as a sheriff's deputy for Galveston and Leon Counties. Carl was active in the Lord's Pantry of Buffalo, the Lion's Club of Leon County and the American Legion of Leon County.
Carl was preceded in death by both of his parents and twin brothers. He is survived by son, Randall S. Robacker of Centerville, Tammy E. Kelm (Scott) of LaPorte and Christy L. Robacker of Long Beach, CA; sisters, Shirley and Jean; grandchildren, Michael Kelm (Liz), Matthew Kelm (Taryn), Amanda Miller (Blake), Debbie Robacker, Carla Robacker, Sidney Tolson, Paige Tolson and Bridgette Norman; and great-grandchildren, Kenley, Emma and River.
A memorial service for Carl, will be held 11 A.M., Friday, April 19, 2024 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Centerville, Texas. Pastor of the church, Keith Bowman, will officiate the service. The service will also be livestreamed on the church's YouTube page -- @OSLC-CTX.
In lieu of flowers, the Robacker family has set up a memorial fund.
Final arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
