Bonnie Elizabeth Moore

December 28, 1952 — September 23, 2024

Hempstead, Texas

Bonnie Elizabeth Moore, born on December 28, 1952, in Houston, Texas to John and Maggie (Bromfield) Roberts, peacefully passed away on September 23, 2024, in College Station, Texas following an extended illness. Bonnie was a beloved mother, devoted daughter, and cherished friend. She transitioned to her eternal rest at the age of seventy-one.

Having resided in Hempstead since 1984, Bonnie made a lasting impact on her community after relocating from Pasadena, Texas. She was an active member of her church in her earlier years, where she enthusiastically shared her faith by teaching Sunday school. A woman of resilience and determination, Bonnie tirelessly juggled multiple jobs to provide for her family, showcasing her unwavering commitment and love for her children and husband.

In her leisure time, Bonnie found joy in the simpler pleasures of life. From scouring antique shops to reveling in the televised wonders of QVC, she found delight in the everyday. An annual attendee of the Bluebonnet festival, Bonnie held a special place in her heart for these vibrant flowers, with a particular fondness for orange and peach-colored roses. Her artistic flair shone through as she dabbled in stained glass creations during her youth.

Above all, Bonnie treasured the moments spent with her children and grandchildren. These cherished times were the true essence of her happiness. As we bid farewell to Bonnie, let us not mourn her loss, but celebrate the legacy of love and memories she leaves behind.

In honor of Bonnie’s life, a funeral service will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas preceded by a visitation from 10 A.M. to service time on the same day.
