Bobby Wayne Hull was born on January 20, 1944, in Houston, Texas.

He served six years in the United States Air Force, then worked for NASA doing developmental work in Astronaut training at Ellington Air Force Base for ten years. After NASA, he went to Occidental Petroleum as second in command for six years until OXY moved to New York. He then went to Pennzoil, replaced the retiring second in command, and was there for sixteen years until his retirement.

Bobby moved to Centerville, Texas in 2000, and established the Rockin' H Ranch, where he bought, sold, boarded and provided after-veterinary care for horses. He started phasing the ranch out in 2017.  It closed in 2020.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, WC Hull and Inez Hull; siblings, Gene Hull, Shirley Judd and Elizabeth "Miss Beth" Perry. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and one good dog.

A memorial service honoring Bobby's life will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Cowboy Church of Leon County, Centerville, Texas.  Pastor Tuffy Loftin & Wayne Bell will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
