Betty Lanell Voisin

Funeral services for Betty Voisin, 86, of Centerville, Texas will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Rev. Bobby Wayne Burleson will officiate the service. A visitation will be held Friday, May 27th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Following the service on Saturday, all are invited to attend a reception that will be held at the American Legion Hall in Centerville, Texas.

Betty LaNell Voisin was born July 11, 1935 in Houston, Texas, the only child of James & Effie (Maness) McAshan. She worked as a corporate secretary for Texaco until her retirement. Betty and her husband, Raymond, had lived in Centerville since 1998 where she enjoyed garage sales and working on birdhouses and other types of crafts in her crafting shed. Betty was never an idol person, rather choosing to keep moving and stay busy with small tasks around the house. She passed away May 23, 2022 at her home in Centerville after an extended illness.

Betty was preceded in death by both of her parents. Surviving family members include husband, Raymond A Voisin, Sr. of Centerville; sons, Gary Clark (Beverly) of Spring, James “Tony” Clark of Centerville, Howard Hunt (Kathi) of Tomball and Raymond Voisin, Jr. (Dianne) of Lake Hawkins; grandchildren, Kevin Clark & Tyler Hunt and great-grandchild, Lira Clark.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
